McLintock
This color Western comedy, loosely based on The taming of the Shrew, stars John Wayne as George Washington McLintock and Maureen O'Hara as his estranged wife, Katherine. Comfortably living the life of a bachelor, McLintock's life is turned up-side down when Katherine returns to claim custody of her daughter. "The Duke" has to battle his wife, his daughter, and political land-grabbers in this often hilarious and always entertaining movie.
